Amanda: I am a volunteer working at Catholic Charities Legal Services for my year of service. I’m learning a lot about law and the cultures of the communities I’m serving. My friends from college know me as a tree-hugging hippie, but now that college is over I think it’s about time that I become a tree hugging lawyer. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll never lose my passion for Africa, biodegradable cutlery, or protest ballads… but, I’m definitely ready to apply all that passion to law. I’m ready to stick it to the man one I-130 at a time. Bring it on!
